WASTE MANAGEMENT: SOURCE REDUCTION, COMPOSTING AND RECYCLING
Take steps to reduce unused food inventory. Compost food scraps. Recycle all items recognized as recyclable and accepted by the City of Memphis.
GREEN CLEANING PRODUCTS
Reduce the use of toxic cleaners wherever possible and replace with plant-based and/or biodegradable cleaners.
WATER AND ENERGY USE REDUCTION
Take steps to reduce and conserve vital energy and water.
PLAN FOR LEFTOVER CONSUMABLE FOOD
Connect with local service agencies to donate food that has not been presented to consumers.
Properly maintain grease traps and kitchen hoods. Ensure kitchen, front of house, and outside areas are clean and free of debris at all times. Use native plants in landscaping whenever possible.
